Hervé Favre website for the 2001 mini-transat

Les partenaires

Bank created in Geneva in 1798, specialised in asset management, it has the particularity of being a partnership and not a company with limited liability. It is owned by seven partners who are personally liable on their own assets for all the Bank’s commitments. Lombard Odier & Cie still remains a family business even if it is a important organisation ( more than 1500 employees in 14 countries around the world).

This is evidenced by the fact that when Patrick Odier, partner of the Bank, learned about Hervé’s project, his reaction was : « You are completely crazy, but it’s a brilliant idea ». His second reaction was : « Can we do something for you ? »

As a result, Lombard Odier is contributing to this project. This reflects the Partners’ commitment since 200 years to support and endeavor to promote, encourage or reward responsible behavior in the fields of social welfare, humanitarian and environmental concerns, youth, education, initiative and creativity.

CHILDREN ACTION

THE FIRST HUMAN RIGHT IS CHILDHOOD

Hervé is really happy to fly the colors of CHILDREN ACTION.

He decided to offer the advertising space on his boat to a humanitarian foundation.

Created in 1994 by Bernard SABRIER, CHILDREN ACTION is a Swiss Foundation which provides direct, specific assistance to underpriviledged children in Switzerland and abroad.

Hervé commited himself to give 50% of the money he will get from the website. So click here to help them !

et

Hervé’s energy provider. A picture of the E10 generator given by Honda Marine can be found on the page life on board.

Thanks to M. Manfred Bucher, Hervé has benefitted from special prices on all the marine supplies and particularly on the Liros ropes.

Thanks to François, Hervé has had a special discount on all the Musto equipment he needed for the Transat.

RAYMARINE (formerly Raytheon (who bought Authohelm !) very kindly provided an autopilot unit when Hervé’s was broken plus some good discount on the spares.
